PROTEST THE HERO: VIDEO FOR ‘UNDERBITE’ LAUNCHES TODAY
NEW STUDIO ALBUM, ‘VOLITION’, OUT THIS WEEK
In celebration of the launch of brand new album, ‘Volition’, Protest The Hero today release their new video for the track ‘Underbite’. Carrying on their tradition of being totally non-traditional, the clip features the band members as finger puppets.
"We admit, we have had some pretty outlandish ideas for music videos in the past. We may not have hit it out the park with all of those ideas – but something tells me we are close with this one.
When we brought up the idea of a full-blown puppet video to our friend / directer Marc, he laughed in our faces. He continued laughing for weeks until he remembered that a friend of his knew how to make wonderful little paper puppets. That's when he got serious.
He took on the idea with every bit of his creative being, and this is the result. You may not like the song, you may not agree with the lyrics, but if you don’t like the video, we don’t like you."
Below is the video for ‘Underbite’

The new album Proof Of Life, out next year, includes lead track 'Slow Suicide'.
Grammy-Award winning artist Scott Stapp releases the deeply personal 'Proof of Life' on January 20th 2014.
Frontman Stapp's second solo album 'Proof Of Life' follows on from 2005's 'The Great Divide', and features 11 new songs including lead track 'Slow Suicide'.
As vocalist with US outfit CREED, Stapp has sold nearly 30 million albums around the world, had three Grammy nominations and one win for ‘Best Rock Song’ with ‘With Arms Wide Open’, plus 11 US Number One Singles.
And now, Stapp returns to solo duty with ‘Proof of Life’, featuring drummers Kenny Aronoff & Josh Freese, plus guitarists Phil X & Ken Pierce, amongst others.
"This is the most meaningful record of my career. I’ve made a lot of messes in my life, but I’ve learnt that I can take a mess and turn it into a message. This album chronicles my struggles, my journey and it’s the most honest record I have ever written.”
Having published his autobiography, the ultra-candid ‘Sinner’s Creed’, last year, Stapp is now ready to continue his solo musical journey, and ‘Proof of Life’ is sure to appeal to the legions of Creed fans, along with anyone with an ear for a good song delivered direct from the heart…
“Y’know,” continues Stapp, “the fans have always meant everything to me, and over the years they’ve come to me and told me how through my music they’ve gotten through the worst of times, and that hit me. With this album, it’s the first time that when I listened back to the tracks, it became a cathartic experience for me.”
Proof of Life Track Listing is as follows:
1. Slow Suicide
2. Who I Am
3. Proof of Life
4. New Day Coming
5. Only One
6. Break Out
7. Hit Me More
